The design processes

In Sepúlveda Ponce we offer an integral service in architectural works, reforms and interior design. And by integral we mean that we can get involved in as many phases as you want, from the initial design phase to the completion of the work.

First of all, we will get to know you and understand your needs: we will arrange a no-obligation appointment for you to meet us and explain what you are looking for, your style and we can advise you on what you need. We can visit the place or, if you are outside Malaga, have an on-line meeting.

For us, the most important thing is communication and trust: we want to know what you like and what you don’t like, your way of life, your expectations and what you want to achieve; good communication is the key to complete projects successfully.

On our first visit we will take lots of notes and photos, do some data collection (if applicable) and ask you to send us reference images that reflect your style. We can make a collaborative Pinterest board to start working together. Also, and very importantly, we will ask you to tell us what budget you have to do the work: keep in mind that this is essential to be able to advise you and work with a design that fits your budget.

Once we know each other better and we understand better what you are looking for, it is time to get down to work. The first phase of the work will consist of putting on paper the previous ideas, presenting a distribution proposal accompanied by reference images of other projects, to know that we are on the right track. We will work on this phase until you are satisfied with our proposal.

In the next phase we will develop the complete project in which, by means of plans, we will define each technical aspect of the project. The size of the project will depend on whether it is a new construction, a complete renovation or an interior design project.

At this stage, we like to show our clients 3D images and/or videos of the project: 3D visualization is a very useful tool that allows us to better explain how the design will look like before starting the work. You can see multiple examples in our projects section.

We will take care of requesting the building permit at the City Hall: we will present the requested documentation and we will answer to the different requirements we receive. You will not have to worry about the tedious bureaucracy.

Start the work, it’s not long now! You will be glad to have a technician to control that the works are carried out according to the project, that everything is executed correctly and to control that the construction company charges you what really corresponds.

The work is finished, but what if you discover that a light fixture is not working? We will arrange for the construction company to fix the problems you encounter in the first few months of using your new space.
